I was looking for a means of improving the level of team working in my management team and also to strengthen their relationships with each other. I was hoping to achieve this and have some fun at the same time. Ability Outdoors were recommended to me by a colleague and my team and I had a great day in Dalby Forest, working together to tackle team as well as addressing some personal challenges (Jacobs Ladder). We were well looked after by the Ability Outdoors Team and thoroughly enjoyed our day. The day certainly helped achieve the objectives I had set.

Our students have loved the activities provided — it has really enthused them, helped self esteem, and allowed groups to bond more easily. Every year students come back excited about the activities, saying how much they enjoyed them — proving that it was a really worthwhile experience.

Bramcote school have used Ability Outdoors for a number of years for a range of activities including team building exercises, paintballing, archery and orienteering. Activities are always well organised, purposeful and safe but they are also great fun for the children because the instructors relate well to them and go out of their way to give them an entertaining, but also challenging day.

An excellent experience for our first team players and staff. The climbing in pairs on the Jacob's ladder in particular stretched everyone in the group - a great success all round, supported by the professional and friendly staff at Ability outdoors.

The team were involved in a two day meeting this meant staying in a board room style environment, they needed to release a bit of energy and bond as a team so I needed something full on which was paintballing. It went down very well everybody really enjoyed it and they talked and laughed about it many weeks after the event.

We were looking for a flexible team who would give our Year 7 pupils a chance to use their map reading skills. The staff at Ability Outdoors are very efficient and no problem seems too big or small. The pupils really enjoyed the competitiveness of the orienteering and all of them learnt a great deal. It is really great to see a group of young people thoroughly exhausted and chattering about a geography fieldtrip! An excellent day, thank you!

Ability Outdoors is the first thing that I book when organizing a soccer trip from the States and have used them every time on our trips. The scenery and surroundings are stunning, the organization and safety aspects are first class and the different game scenarios are always the highlight of the trip. In terms of team-building and adapting to differing rules and surroundings the opportunity that Ability Outdoors affords us is second to none.

We decided to use Ability Outdoors as part of our induction into the sixth form. With so many new students joining us from all parts of the British Isles and Europe, it was a great way to ease everyone into the college and to make friends. Putting people into interesting and challenging positions on Jacobs Ladder and the low ropes course in particular was fun and soon allowed inhibitions to drop and friendships to be made. We will be booking again next year!
